Heirloom Property Management is proud to celebrate over three years of progress with its Resident to Homeowner Program, a community-focused program aimed at helping Duluth renters become homeowners. Since launching, the initiative has helped more than a dozen residents transition from renting to owning a home, eliminating lease break fees for Residents purchasing a property.

One of the program’s most recent success stories is Brandy, who just closed on her first home. Brandy, a former Heirloom Resident, is now a proud homeowner and has joined the program as a face of the movement, hoping to inspire others in Duluth to consider homeownership.
“This program is about helping Residents transition into home ownership,” said Kaylee Bergstrom, Business Development Manager and Realtor at Heirloom. “If one of our Residents is ready to buy a home, we want to celebrate and support that. Many Residents are buying a home for the first time which is a big deal. In a small way we can make that a bit easier for them.
The Resident to Homeowner Program is simple: if a current Heirloom Resident decides to purchase a home, the company will help them get out of their lease for free, making the transition to homeownership much easier for our Residents.
Now entering its third year, Heirloom is proud to have helped over a dozen Residents transition to homeownership which align with Heirloom’s values.
